BYU Does The Expected

I can't say that I am at all surprised that BYU lost another close game to a decent NCAA Tourney team. I think I could have called that game play by play before it even happened. I have seen the same thing so many times, it is really starting to get funny. BYU makes good games out of their tournament appearances, but they like to let at least one guy on the other team always get a career high in points, shooting %, or any other category you can think of. They will then choke at the end of the game wile still making the score look respectable, and leave us all to say for yet another time..."they should be really good next year."

What do the last three loses for BYU in the NCAA tournament have in common? All three include a superhuman effort by the opposing team from beyond the arc. Syracuse 2004 - 11-16 (.688) McNamara 43pts (nine 3pts). Xavier 2007 8-17(.471) Doellman 23pts (three 3pts) 2008 Texas A&M 8-16(.500) Carter 26 pts (six 3pts).
